5 days to christmas, and I'm not feeling any more christmas-sy than the 财神爷. Maybe it's the busier-than-school-days holidays I've been having, maybe it's that I've reached the age where christmas has lost all it's starry wonder. Whatever it is, it's sad, and I want to go back to being a child again.

Anyway, in the past week or so, I have:

1. Discovered that I am completely unable to play hockey, despite coming from a class where half my classmates were school players.
2. Slid to second base in a softball game on a disgustingly muddy field that smelt suspiciously of cow dung.
3. Been lovingly rolled around in abovementioned cow dung field by softball teammates as an early birthday gift.
4. Torn my hair out at the 101 rules of netball.
5. Had not enough sleep.

This is turning out to be a very merry christmas indeed.
